ZORRO was London's newest hit musical in 2008. With a new score by Latin music sensation The Gipsy Kings, the show included some of their biggest smash hits: Bamboleo, Baila Me and Djobi Djoba. A favourite with audiences, the show received five Laurence Olivier Award nominations, including Best New Musical.
ZORRO told the dramatic tale of a romantic masked avenger with extraordinary aerial acrobatic skills. Along with spectacular sword-fighting and incredible magic, this was set to the famous red-hot Gipsy King beat, with the authentic colours of traditional Flamenco.
The shows success in London paved the way for several international productions in France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Japan, Korea and Russia.
